Abstract

Natural disasters not only cause physical destruction but also leave profound psychological impacts on survivors. Post-disaster trauma often hinders the overall recovery process, especially when not accompanied by proper intervention. This article aims to examine the role of psychosocial support in building mental resilience after disasters, using a literature review method based on relevant national and international scientific references. The findings indicate that interventions such as Psychological First Aid (PFA), art therapy, play therapy, and bibliotherapy are effective in reducing trauma symptoms and strengthening individual and community psychological resilience. A holistic, contextual, and participatory approach is essential to ensure the success of sustainable trauma healing programs. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for formulating inclusive post-disaster recovery policies that are oriented toward the actual needs of survivors.
