Abstract

This study aims to explore how the implementation of counseling focused on fostering gratitude can enhance individual resilience. Through a literature review, we gathered data from various relevant sources to understand the relationship between gratitude and resilience, as well as the effectiveness of counseling in this context. The results show that gratitude significantly contributes to improving mental well-being and the ability of individuals to face and recover from life's challenges. Counseling that teaches and practices gratitude has proven to be effective in strengthening resilience. These findings support previous literature indicating that gratitude correlates positively with happiness and stress reduction. This study provides insights for mental health practitioners in designing counseling programs that can enhance resilience through the development of gratitude.
