The role of parents in the psychosocial development of children is a crucial aspect in supporting the formation of self-identity, social skills, and emotional regulation from an early age. This study aims to describe the role of parents in supporting the psychosocial development of children in Undaan Tengah Village, Undaan District, Kudus Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method. The research subjects consist of several parents with young children who are actively involved in parenting. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation used to validate the data. The results of the study indicate that parental roles in children's psychosocial development include providing emotional support, implementing supportive parenting styles, involvement in children's education, and creating a safe and communicative environment. Children who receive attention and positive interaction from their parents demonstrate better development in terms of self-confidence, independence, and social abilities. However, challenges such as limited time due to work and socioeconomic factors were also identified, which can hinder the optimal execution of parenting roles. Therefore, educational and social support is needed to assist parents in performing their parenting roles more effectively and adaptively.
