Communication problems are one of the dominant factors that can trigger conflict and a decline in the quality of marital relationships, which ultimately affects family stability. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of married couples. The results of the study show that common forms of communication problems include miscommunication, lack of openness, aggressive communication, and unwise use of technology. The main contributing factors include differences in background, gender role imbalance, work-related stress, and lack of quality time. The impacts of these issues include increased domestic conflicts, decreased emotional intimacy, and disrupted child-rearing functions. The strategies commonly applied by couples include enhancing empathy, communication training, spiritual guidance, and open dialogue. This study concludes that healthy and effective communication is the foundation for maintaining family harmony. Therefore, efforts to improve communication literacy among married couples are crucial for preventing conflicts and building harmonious families.
